Lost In Love Volunteer Opportunity
The Volunteer Program was introduced to City Departments in April of 2005. It was implemented at Dallas Love Field October 2005. The Aviation Department selected the name of Love Helpers. We started out with 10 volunteers. To date, we have 23 active volunteers.
Love Helpers are here to fill an important gap. They allow security personnel to focus on their duties without distraction from travelers requests.

Directions to Volunteer Office
The Aviation Administration Office is temporarily located at 7610 Aviation Place. Take Cedar Springs Road to Aviation Place/Air Cargo and turn right, go pass the Southwest Airlines Air Cargo Building and turn right into the first drive opening into the parking lot. Follow this drive opening through the parking lot to the fenced area. You will see signage that reads Department of Aviation Administration. Park in visitors parking in front of the Modular Trailer Building at 7610 Aviation Place.

Love Helpers must attend three training sessions held on weekdays only. Training sessions are offered quarterly each year. Trainings consist of departmental policies and procedural changes, airport improvements, operational aspects of the airport, tours. A training manual s provided that includes terminal changes, emergency procedures, contact numbers, airline information and airport services.
Love Helpers may attend all departmental trainings, functions and are recognized semi -annually for their accomplishments.
