DALLAS, TX – The City of Dallas Department of Aviation is pleased to announce that Patrick Carreno, Director of Aviation, has been honored by D CEO in its prestigious Dallas 500, a biographical database showcasing the influential leaders shaping the Dallas-Fort Worth business landscape.

With over 20 years of aviation expertise, Carreno's extensive experience spans leadership and management roles at Oakland International Airport, Stockton Metropolitan Airport, City of Fort Worth, Midland International Airport, and Allegiant Airlines Corporate Office in Las Vegas.

Carreno currently oversees Dallas Love Field (DAL), Dallas Executive Airport (RBD), and the Dallas Vertiport (JDB). Previously, he served as Interim Director from November 2022 to July 2023 and as Assistant Director of Operations from December 2021 to November 2022, where he provided leadership in various critical areas, including Airport Security, Airside Operations, Landside Operations, Emergency Management, and Transportation Regulation.
