DAL Car Rental Shuttle Bus Driver with Golden Voice Wows Travelers with Frank Sinatra Classics

Harold Moore is a familiar face among travelers at Dallas Love Field airport, where he has driven an Enterprise Mobility shuttle bus for nearly 30 years.
However, what makes the 73-year-old stand out the most is his voice.
On any given day, riders on his bus can hear him belt out Frank Sinatra songs with pipes that some say could hold their own against Sinatra himself. For Moore, it’s all about shifting the moods of anxious or weary travelers.
“The words that I sing, the stories that the songs tell; they are soothing, relaxing, melodic, and kind words. They calm people down, put people in a certain mood to get ready to endure whatever kind of day they are going through,” Moore said.
Some 20 years ago, Moore discovered that Frank Sinatra’s catalog strikes just the right tone after stumbling upon the crooner’s 1993 album, Duets, in a thrift store. He recalled blowing dust off the packet and paying two dollars for it. He brought the CD to work, and the rest was history.
“I looked in the rearview mirror at the people, and the looks on their faces said everything. Something magical happened that day, and I realized, ‘Harold, you need to learn every song on this CD and get your voice on track with Sinatra,’ and that’s what I did,” Moore remembered. “I trained my voice to sound just like Frank Sinatra.”
Travelers singing Moore’s praises frequently tag Dallas Love Field and Enterprise Mobility brands – including Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo – in positive reviews on social media.
“Just had the best shuttle ride ever at Love Field,” Casey Bass wrote on X. Mr. Harold picked me up… He cranked up ‘Mack the Knife,’ and me, him and Frank sang at the top of our lungs all the way to the airport. Mr. Harold, you made my day.”
“I've never been interested in getting a photo with a famous person or pro-athlete, but I couldn't help asking if I could get a picture with Harold,” John Wuebbeling posted on LinkedIn. “Harold brings such joy to his work and pride in what he does… He made you feel welcome. All this on what is a 30-sec shuttle ride from DAL to Enterprise location. His sincerity, spirit, and care towards others is inspiring. Apparently, I wasn't the only one to be so moved because three others lined up to get a photo. The world is a better place with Harold.”
At the heart of Moore’s dedication and passion is gratitude. Nearly three decades ago, this job rescued him from homelessness. Moore said he was returning a rental car at Enterprise when he jokingly said he needed a job because all his money went into renting the car. To his surprise, Enterprise decided to take a chance on him and told him to show up the following Monday. Moore has been showing up ever since.
“I don’t plan on stopping any time soon because I’m having a good time,” Moore emphasized. “I’m having fun. It’s a labor of love coming to work every day. I don’t see myself retiring anytime soon because I know coming here is keeping me mentally. It’s keeping me physically.”
Moore’s singing talent is not only reserved for his passengers. He says he sings to his wife and at church.
“I just have fun singing to people, and that’s a gift that I have… I enjoy sharing that gift with others,” he said.
Surprisingly, the singing sensation said he never dreamed of being a singer. After graduating from South Oak Cliff High School in 1970, however, he knew he wanted to serve others, one way or another. Little did he know he would be serving others in song.
“The dream was just to have a gift of service, making other people happy, and making other people smile,” Moore said.
When he is not singing, he is cooking or hanging with his grandkids.
