Dallas Love Field (DAL) will welcome a new way to celebrate, connect, and take a little piece of Dallas on every journey when Flying Blooms officially opens in the terminal on Tuesday, September 1. The new shop marks the airport’s first full-service florist.

Flying Bloom’s signature floral collections are designed specifically for DAL, with each bouquet celebrating the spirit of Dallas and Texas. Four signature collections, The Dallas Love Field Collection, Bluebonnet–Texas Skies, Lone Star Serenade, and Dallas in Pink, tell a distinct story through themes of love, flight, southern pride and entrepreneurship. Additional designs include Boots & Blossoms, Dusty Rose, Reunion of Love and Bigger in Blooms. Alternatively, customers can custom-build bouquets with their selection of flowers, fillers, and packaging, or purchase curated gifts, such as premium travel and clothing accessories, from local brands and businesses.

“Flowers are such a beautiful gift for loved ones, and I’m really excited that our terminal will now be filled with the aromatic and vibrant pleasures of such a wonderful service,” said Heather Estrada, Assistant Director of Customer and Community Engagement for Dallas Love Field.

Located in DAL’s baggage claim area, the carefully designed space offers thoughtfully packaged bouquets for travelers, making them easy to carry to their next destination. The shop will also soon accept special orders for birthdays, anniversaries, and other celebrations through an online platform, with at least 24 hours' advance notice.

“Airports are filled with some of life’s most meaningful moments—welcomes and goodbyes, celebrations and reunions, new journeys, and long-awaited returns,” said Shelia Hudson, founder of Flying Blooms. “Every bouquet we create is an opportunity to make someone’s journey a little more beautiful.”

To celebrate the grand opening, the shop will give away 50 single-stem red roses to the first 50 customers who purchase a retail gift item or bouquet totaling $25 or more. Additional giveaways and special promotions will be offered throughout the day. Flying Blooms will also permanently offer a 10% military discount to honor the nation’s service members.

With this addition to the airport’s concessions portfolio, Flying Blooms will make flowers and thoughtful Dallas-inspired gifts part of the airport experience, whether visitors, passengers, or staff are welcoming someone home, celebrating a special occasion or taking a beautiful reminder of Dallas on their journey.

Beginning in September, regular hours will be 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m.– 2 p.m. Saturday. All hours are subject to change, with expanded hours anticipated during the holiday seasons.
