Scope and Limits

Taxiway Charlie Phase 2 construction encompasses Taxiway C, from east of Taxiway K to the threshold connector to Runway 13R, including the connector to Taxiway L at the west end of Taxiway C (subphases 2A and 2C).

Rehabilitation of the Taxiway Charlie Phase 2 project consists of the project as identified in the 2009 ARA Pavement Evaluation Report. The project was divided into multiple phases, with each being constructed independently. Phase 1 of the Taxiway Charlie project was addressed as part of the Runway 31L-13R reconstruction project. 

Regulatory Requirement

Taxiway Charlie pavement improvements are needed at Dallas Love Field as certain aspects of the airfield pavement do not meet FAA pavement design standards.

Purpose

Taxiway C pavement and associated connectors will be brought into the FAA's current pavement standards.  

Improvements

Full strength pavement installation, pavement markings, airfield lighting, and signage installation at Taxiway C.

Impact

A stormwater pollution prevention plan will be in effect to mitigate any impact from stormwater runoff during construction.
